The debut episode opens with a brief introduction of the family with a voiceover and scenes of each member. After the introduction, the series deals with the family moving into their new BeverlyHills home. The family deal with problems that might arise from such a situation - looking for valuable furniture broken because of lousy packaging and tried to set up the TV without instructions. Ozzy is on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno as a performer. Kelly and Ozzy with Sharon to get the show, but Jack stays at home and watched instead of a marijuana documentary. The result also shows a love-hate Jack and Kelly, and their constant struggle. While the Osbournes are still in,Kelly is almost the kitchen on fire and Jack wanders around in the background pseudo-army gear clad in a daze. The two are constantly fighting, chasing each other around the house. Jack and Kelly go out clubbing, then, on the Sunset Strip, with fake IDs. Ozzy warns them not to drink or take drugs and carry condoms when they have sex. Despite all the problems Sharon is happy and satisfied that they are finally "home".
